What are the benefits of joining the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce?
- Membership provides networking opportunities, business advocacy, marketing support, educational resources, and access to exclusive events. You can also take advantage of member-to-member discounts and services.
When does my membership renew?
- You receive a full year of membership and a renewal notice will be sent on the anniversary of the month you joined.
How much does membership cost?
- Our membership levels are value-based and range in cost depending on what benefits your business is looking for. Check out our membership levels on our website or email membership@vernonchamber.ca for more information. You can also call the office at 250-545-0771.
Can I market my business to other members for free?
- Yes, depending on your membership level there are different abilities to market included. Upon joining, you will receive:
- An online directory listing,
- social media post
- recognition as a new member in our e-blast
- You can also add events to our online calendar and include employment opportunities in our job postings.
- Attending our Business After 5 networking event is one of the best ways to build relationships and share how your product or service might help other members.
Are there paid advertising opportunities?
- Yes, you can send a dedicated e-blast advertisement to our list of over 1000 local contacts for an investment of $175. Contact events@vernonchamber.ca for more info. (subject to availability)
How many people are needed to join the Chamber Plan Group Benefits?
- You can join with as few as 1 person
How much does Group Benefits Cost?
- A number of factors determine the cost of group benefits including the type of business, number of employees, and desired benefits. Contact membership@vernonchamber.ca to get referred for a free quote.
Do I need to be a member of the chamber to join the Chamber Plan Group Benefits?
- Yes, being a member of the chamber is a prerequisite and makes you eligible to join and remain on the plan. However, you do not need to join before knowing if you are approved for the plan.
