The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with business advisory experts at Lochaven Consulting to launch the Growth Accelerator Program—a direct response to what local businesses have been asking for: practical support to grow smarter, not just busier.
This partnership brings together the Chamber’s deep connection to the business community with Lochaven’s proven track record of helping entrepreneurs uncover growth opportunities, strengthen operations, and build sustainable systems. It’s a program built with the community, for the community—designed to meet you where you’re at and help take your business to the next level.
Why Choose GAP?
When we surveyed our members, 51% told us they were focused on growing their business. But when we looked around at the programs available locally, most were geared toward startups—not the small and medium-sized businesses that are already up and running and ready to level up.
That’s why we created the Growth Accelerator Program—to fill that gap and support the businesses that are ready for what’s next.
Here's How it Works
Start by attending the introductory workshop, where you’ll get a taste of the program and learn about two different paths forward.
The first is a self-guided option—you’ll receive all the materials and resources to work through at your own pace. The second is a more in-depth partnership program with Lochaven, sponsored by the Greater Vernon Chamber. This path offers a personalized plan built around a structured six-phase assessment, guided by Lochaven Consulting—a local firm with over 25 years of experience helping businesses grow, including at the municipal and government levels.
Eligibility and Cost
If you’re thinking about moving forward with the full program, here’s what you need to know.
- Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be an active Greater Vernon Chamber Member for at least one year to receive the subsidy.
- Business must be full-time and committed to growth.
- Part-time businesses may apply if they have expansion aspirations.
- Program Cost & Funding:
- Total Cost: $7,000
- Participant Contribution: $5,000
- Chamber Support: $2,000 subsidy per business, making it more accessible. (limited funding available)
